"I'll be sending the next message Jim."
The Omega Glory is one of my longtime favorites from Star Trek. This episode had a number of wonderful strengths, Morgan Woodward's performance as Captain Ronald Tracey was spectacular.
This was done completely in gimp with a wacom intuos 3. I drew this by hand from a reference clip taken from the episode. While I found the angle somewhat challenging, there were a few items of mention that I quite enjoyed.
Morgan Woodward's posture is regal, commanding. The lighting was quite enjoyable to depict, Star Trek had a uniquely artistic approach to just about every scene.

I always considered this episode to be more of an anti-classic than a classic, but to each his own. But one thing you and I agree on is that Morgan Woodward's intense presence greatly enhanced everything. He was even better in his other Trek episode, "Dagger of the Mind". He was a truly great actor. (Or rather I should say "is"-- he's still with us, you know.) In any case, you have really captured him!
